TC Patel has 42 years of experience in the dental profession and was awarded Fellowship of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners and Fellowship of the International College of Dentists for his contribution and continual commitment to on going professional postgraduate education.
His interests are Restorative (smile design cosmetic Dentistry, restoring complex wear cases, Implantology and orthodontics) and Surgical dentistry. In 2007 he achieved the Advanced Certificate Diploma in Dental Implantology from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and was Course tutor and Lead tutor on the Implant Diploma Course until 2023. He was the Senior Clinical Assistant in Orthodontics at Southend General Hospital for 25 years.
He had been a Foundation Dentist Educational Supervisor for over 20 years. He was also the President of the Essex Branch of the BDA (2015-2016). He was an Examiner on the FFGDP (UK) Fellowship and currently still examining the FGDP(UK) Diploma in Implant Dentistry examinations at the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
